Client’s Request:
In May of 2016, my client had three days off from work along with six other families whose kids were off school for a long weekend break. They wanted to do some exploring outside of Stockholm, but needed it to fit within the 3-day time frame. They asked us to plan an adventure that both children and adults could enjoy.
Results:
To satisfy their time frame, we organized a 2-day cruise – from Stockholm, Sweden to Riga, Latvia – for the seven families. During the first day, they had an amazing time discovering Riga on their own. In the evening they reconnected with one another for dinner, dancing, and some karaoke.
We also worked with a local tour company to organize a walking tour for the families on their second day. The guide picked the group up from the port and gave them a 2-hour historical walking tour that highlighted Riga. The guide we hired was fun, entertaining, and very helpful when a guest asked a question. They enjoyed exploring and returned home with a new outlook and understanding about the area.

Client’s Request:
This client wanted an adventure, an outdoor activity and a healthy delightful Swedish lunch, but had a tight budget to work with. They wanted to send a group of women to meet other expats so they could learn a bit more about the beautiful sights of Stockholm. Unsure about what would be best, that would be enjoyed by all, and unable to coordinate the logistics of a luncheon, the client contacted Colorado Corporate Escapes for assistance.
Results:
After speaking with the client, we decided kayaking was a perfect adventure for everyone. To ensure that beginners and intermediates would enjoy the activity equally, the day started with a short introduction and safety lesson on kayaking. After they zipped up their life vests, the ladies were paired up with someone that had never met before. The goal was to create an opportunity for new friendships to be formed.
The group paddled around Langholmen and Remersholmen, two little islands that surround Stockholm, Sweden. They encountered breathtaking sights, sounds and wildlife along their journey. Not only was the kayaking trip beautiful and relaxing, but everyone left with a new friend! Mission accomplished

Client’s Request:
After a successful kayak trip, the client wanted another exploratory outdoor adventure for their group of ladies to go experience Stockholm, Sweden. Again, they were on a tight budget, but also wanted to include a lunch for the ladies to have the opportunity to meet and mingle
Results:
We organized and booked a 3-hour bike tour of Stockholm, Sweden and arranged a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. The ladies stopped at every interesting landmark and discovered a rich mix of historical and modern architecture along the way. They saw amazing views of Södermalm, Stockholm’s biggest island.
Their guide explained something of interest about each sight and answered any questions. He also pointed out various restaurants and shops that they could explore on their own at a later date. Prior to the ride, each guest received a list of 10 items to look for during their bike ride. At the end of their lovely tour, those who were able to tell us where the items were located, won a small prize. The client was pleased that the outing was fun and educational for all involved.
