At the heart of Colorado Corporate Escapes is a shared belief that events should feel effortless, meaningful, and memorable.
Kayla has always had a passion for bringing people together and creating opportunities to connect. With a background that spans teaching in Canada, organizing community events in Sweden, and ultimately founding Skål Celebrations (rebranding to Colorado Corporate Escapes) in Boulder in 2019, she has built a career centered around planning purposeful, impactful corporate events.
Kayla specializes in uncovering off-beat locations and designing activities that allow your team to experience something new and exciting. Known for her creativity, big-picture vision, and strong negotiation skills, she ensures each event reflects her clients’ culture while staying on budget.
Outside of event planning, Kayla enjoys Latin dancing, cooking, hiking, biking, and traveling. She has also completed a 200-hour international yoga teacher training, a 4 year Qi Gong training and recently graduated from the Boulder County Leadership program.

Originally from the UK, Claire also brings a global perspective and extensive background in travel logistics, complex planning, and event management.
A role in entertainment travel took her to Los Angeles, where she organized logistics for high-profile music artists on worldwide tours and advanced into a supervisory role. After relocating to Colorado, Claire expanded her skill set with several years in online marketing and design, running her own business supporting wedding professionals.
Her continued passion for events led her back to the industry, where she has gained further experience in event management for a venue as well as planning and coordinating weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations. Known for her organization, creativity, and attention to detail, Claire loves helping clients transform ideas into seamless, memorable experiences.
When she’s not planning events, she enjoys exploring the mountains, paddle boarding, hiking, and Zumba dancing.
